Sports talk with JAred Green
I'm Jared Green. I'm a sports enthusiast particularly focusing on the sport of basketball.​ I discuss sports issues in two of the four biggest professional sports leagues in America, which are football (NFL) and basketball (NBA). ​
My passion also lies within recreation. I believe that recreation no matter what sort, can provide everyone with a better life. My love for sports, combined with my passion for recreation, has allowed me to reach out to the youth in many ways in the Bay Area. ​Within the past four years, I coached basketball with WeeHoop, a basketball training for tots. I developed their basic fundamental skills while teaching them that it takes a group and team effort to be successful. I also was a coach for the Jr. Warriors basketball program for the City of San Leandro.
I worked with middle school students through an after school program called PAL through Livermore Area Recreation Park District as a Recreation Leader. I created and coordinated multiple sports leagues for students.
